Real Weddings: Craft Day for Annie
9:16 AM
My good friends James and Annie are getting married at the end of May, so Annie gathered some friends and family together to tackle some big wedding projects.
First of all, I have to say that I am so super excited for this wedding. There are some really wonderful details that I just know will make it a gorgeous event. The whole affair is going to be quite intimate; Annie always imagined that her wedding would be at her home, so the celebration will be held in a tent in the front yard of her parents' home in the woods. I wish I could describe this better, but you have to just trust me until I post pictures of the event. It is going to be beautiful.
There were a few big projects to finish, but I had the most fun taking pictures of the tissue paper pom poms (because aren't tissue paper pom poms just so wonderful?).
All in all, it was a wonderful time of eating good food, drinking good wine and crafting. I was very honored to be included and to have the chance to meet Annie's wonderful family (and adorable dog).
Can't wait until the wedding!
Jeanne prepping invitations
Working on luminaries
Luminaries will line the driveway (so magical).
Addressing wedding invitations
Trying my hand at the DIY wedding calligraphy tutorial I found on Pinterest
And the pom poms....
so many pom poms
Annie fluffing
Annie's little niece got in the on the action too!
Even Oliver liked them...
The beautiful bride to be :)
