Windows on the River is in the Flats District of Cleveland, just minutes from downtown restaurants and hotels.


Windows has three main ballrooms, the Bridge View Room (which holds up to 550 seated guests), the City View Room (my favorite, which holds up to 300 guests) and the River View Room (which holds up to 175 guests). This post includes pictures of the City View room, which boasts floor to ceiling windows, a balcony and outdoor patio facing the river.







There are several really cool things about this venue that will give your guests a unique, one-of-a kind event experience.

1. It is located in a really cool neighborhood of Cleveland, right on the Cuyahoga River with some awesome views of the Cleveland skyline.


2. It is one of those venues that doesn't require a lot of fuss to make it amazing (read: its tall ceilings and STUNNING floor to ceiling windows speak for themselves).





3. It is housed in the same building as the new Cleveland Aquarium. If you book the City View room, you can look down and see the shark exhibit. Not sure how you can beat that.



Windows also offers an all-inclusive flat fee package that is based on your guest count. This number includes rental of the room, linens, and food. You can get more information on their website.

There are just a few things you should keep in mind:

1. Parking isn't free, but there is a simple fix: you set up parking ahead of time with the company, so that your guests don't have to pay.
2. Because of it's location in the Flats, you have to be very, VERY specific with your directions and provide a detailed map. Cleveland driving can tend to be a little hairy.
3. There is no on-site, day-of ceremony coordinator. You could use the officiant for this purpose, but you may want to hire an outside coordinator or have a friend there to make sure your music and walking are coordinated.
