I've been passing this adorable little brick building on my way home from outings for months now, and even though there is a giant sign on the side that says "Available for rent," I've never bothered to stop or call. Shame on me: I'm a bad blogger.


For some reason though, I was driving by the other day and was compelled to pull over. Turns out the little brick building is an old one-room schoolhouse (!!!!) and it is adorable. It would be perfect for a small engagement party, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or bridesmaids' tea...
I owe you better pictures, because I was in kind of a hurry and only got snapshots of the outside, but they do have a Facebook page with more information and photos if you're interested.









Cute, huh? The inside is even nicer, complete with beautiful hardwood floors and a cool old chalkboard.

The basic info:

Name: Quill's Schoolhouse, located in Rittman Ohio off of Benner Road.
Capacity: 75 people, tables and chairs included. Parking lot holds about 35 cars.
Building is air conditioned and heated, and entirely handicap accessible. There is a small kitchen with basic amenities (no oven).
Building can be rented for 5 or 8 hour intervals. I was asked not to post the price, but it's worth calling. Believe me.
