I found a gem of a venue. It's a gem because not only is it a BEAUTIFUL facility, it is also fairly inexpensive to rent. And we all know how much I love saving money.

We're going a little outside of the Northeast Ohio region for this one, but I think it's worth it...Here are some shots of the barn:

Everal Barn is located in Westerville Ohio (near Columbus in Central Ohio) in Heritage Park. The barn and Homestead are situated on 52 acres complete with ponds and walking paths.
The Barn itself has two floors and a loft, as well as a patio and surrounding green space that can also be used for events. The entire facility has heating and air conditioning (a plus for those summer events), and includes a kitchen and restrooms.

The Homestead is a little smaller, but would be a nice space to utilize for the party and family before the ceremony. It is, as the name implies, a historic home with a nice dining room and fireplace.

Price of the rental includes set-up as well as tables and chairs. There is a 12% catering fee and all caterers have to be approved by the city, and (downside here) the charge for non-residents is 50% higher. There is a no alcohol policy.

Pricing varies and specific details can be found here. As an example though, a non-resident can rent the entire facility (Everal house and Barn) on a Saturday night for $1080 (5.5 hours). That's pretty amazing.
